However, after a few hours afterwards, thousands of people in the residential neighborhood of Rampura returned to the streets, with police shooting at the throng and injuring at least one.
” Our backs are to the wall”, rebel Nazrul Islam, 52, told AFP at the field. ” There’s lawlessness going on in the state… They “fire like parrots” at people.
Since Thursday, facilities have been notified of an increase in gun fatalities.  ,
According to police spokeswoman Faruk Hossain, “hundreds of thousands of people” had fought police in the money on Friday.
” At least 150 police officers were admitted to hospital. Another 150 were given first help cure”, he said, adding that two soldiers had been beaten to death.
” The protesters torched some officers booths… Some government agencies were torched and vandalised”.
Four people who were admitted to intensive care succumbed to their wounds, according to employees at Dhaka Medical College Hospital, who confirmed to AFP that two more police officers and nine people were killed on Saturday.
