Young boy dies after “punishment run”

A seven-year-old pupil was forced to run around a niche as retribution for stowing a complete Boy Scout uniform.

Wuttipat Krueasom, a Pratom 1 student at a private university in Prachin Buri’s Kabin Buri city, was reportedly punished by his teacher for putting on an untimely outfit.

According to reports, he was told to move around the university’s field five days.

While running, Wuttipat grew short of breath. His parents came to the school to pick him up and take him to a nearby office after being informed of his condition by the class.

Nevertheless, he was in such a critical issue that he was sent to Kabin Buri Hospital, which was unable to keep him.

Wuttipat suffered from pneumonia, according to his parents.

Siripong Angkasakulkiat, an aide to the education minister, expressed his pain at the media, adding that a fee may be formed to investigate the matter.

He claimed that someone will have to be held accountable for what happened if the abuse the boy received was found to be too extreme. He emphasized that both parties must receive fairness.

Additionally, Mr. Siripong emphasized that teachers may alter their outlooks because of the significant changes in society and the world. He suggested that the boy’s instructor should have just warned him rather than punish him.

The president’s compensation for the boy’s dying will depend on his plan and the school’s payment schedule, he said.
