SINGAPORE: Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong will visit Malaysia from Friday ( Jul 19 ) to Monday for Malaysian king Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar’s installation ceremony at the Istana Negara in Kuala Lumpur, the Prime Minister’s Office ( PMO ) said on Thursday.  ,
Mr. Lee’s first established overseas visit since stepping down as prime minister on May 15 will make way for Mr. Wong to be Singapore’s third head.
According to the PMO, Mr. Lee is one of a” select group” of foreign leaders that Sultan Ibrahim had invited to the assembly service in a statement.
According to local advertising in Malaysia, the King of Bahrain Sheikh Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the Sultan of Brunei Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah are among those who are scheduled to attend.  ,
Sultan Ibrahim, the Johor king, took the oath of office on January 31 as the 17th king of Malaysia, which has a distinctive spinning monarchy system that sees nine rulers take turns enthroning each other in five-year cycles.
Sultan Ibrahim and Mr. Lee first met on May 6 during the queen’s official visit to Singapore, where he was given information on how the Thomson-East Coast series and the Rapid Transit System Link connect.
Sultan Ibrahim even attended a sitting parliament period in Singapore, where Speaker Seah Kian Peng expressed his fervent support for bringing Malaysians and Singaporeans up.
Mr. Lee did meet Malaysia’s Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim at a royal feast in Kuala Lumpur. He will even talk at a Kuala Lumpur Business Club dinner function and respond to Malaysian kings, ministers, and frontrunners.
Additionally, Mr. Lee may attend a Singapore High Commission welcome for foreigners in Kuala Lumpur.
Mr. Lee, Senior Minister of State for Defense Zaqy Mohamad, and Senior Minister of State for Culture, Community, and Youth Low Yen Ling, may be accompanied by his family, Mrs. Lee.
