SINGAPORE: An 18-year-old who was in a motorcycle chase along Seletar Expressway , ( SLE ) that killed a Land Transport Authority ( LTA ) officer has received a fresh charge for selling his Singpass details.
The latest charge, tendered on Thursday ( Jul 18 ), means the teen now faces seven charges in total.
According to the new charge, he sold his Singpass account to an “unknown person” on Telegram in exchange for a loan of S$ 300 ( US$ 224 ) in the middle of 2023.
The teenager’s identity may be given because he was under the age of 18 when he committed one of his crimes, which was methamphetamine consumption in August of 2023.
His claims described customers, drug and weapons crimes, five of which occurred on Jun 4.
He reportedly rode a bicycle along the SLE without a license or insurance and allegedly had a Samurai weapon at a Woodlands wall.
The girl reportedly failed to stop when LTA officer Mr. Zdulfika Ahakasah gave the order to do so. According to command bedding, he allegedly cut across two lanes on the road back near the Tampines Expressway return and across the crescent marking on the road wall to fend off the agent.
Mr. Zdulfika was involved in a collision while on the run when he collided with two vehicles and a truck, and he was taken to a hospital where he passed away.
He claimed when the girl was first accused of gambling his existence in June that he had gambled his. So the dying… Although I may be one of the causes of the dying, I am not to blame.
He pleaded not guilty on Tuesday and showed up in court wearing a white sweater and shaving his head from his place of custody.
The attorney claimed the case was pending and requested four weeks of injunction, claiming that they had requested no bail at the previous hearing because the teenager had been detained via the police gazette.
While serving loan at the station, the girl had failed to report to the Central Narcotics Bureau.
Asked if he understood, the teenager said:” Uh, yeah, but I would like to ask for bail review as my mother is now alone, so. .”.
The judge set up a loan evaluation for him on July 22 and moved the situation to August.
