Prior to the start of the first customer services between the two assets, which may begin on Friday, a test run of the cross-border Bangkok to Vientiane connection was held on Saturday.
The test run, which began at Nong Khai Railway Station and ended at Vientiane Station ( Khamsavath ) in Laos, was led by Nong Khai governor Sompob Samitasiri and members of several government organizations, private organizations, and tour companies.
Since July 10, the bridge support has been booked, and its first business work is scheduled for this Friday.
The train will leave Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal Station at 9:25 p.m. the following day and arrive at Vientiane ( Khamsavath ) Station in Laos at 9:05 a.m.
One-way fares between Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal Station in Bangkok and Vientiane Station are available at four prices: 281 baht for a third-class lover chair, 574 baht of a second-class seats with air conditioning, 784 baht for a second-class chair which converts into an upper sleep with air cooling and 874 baht for a second-class chair converted into a lower base with air conditioning.
For people who travel further along the line, costs will be lower.
Tickets can be booked 180 days in advance at any railroad place nationwide.
Travelers can explore well-known tourist attractions or take the high-speed China-Laos railroad at Vientiane Railway Station to another Laos provinces or to China once they arrive at the destination.
