Seven dead in northern Vietnam after landslide buries van

a landslide caused by heavy rain to bury the van they were traveling in in northern Vietnam on Saturday ( Jul 13 ), according to state media reports from the state on Saturday ( Jul 13 ). At least seven people were found dead in the area.

Northern Vietnam is now experiencing heavy storms and flooding, making it difficult to go along mountain roads.

The landslide hit the 16-seater van around 4 am local time ( 5am, Singapore time ) as it drove through Bac Me district in Ha Giang province, state media said.

Firefighters had recovered seven body, including a child.

According to state media, six more were found dead and taken to a local clinic, adding that volunteers were looking for the missing.
