According to the Department of Rural Roads ( DRR ), a new bridge over the Nakhon Chaisri River is about to open in Nakhon Pathom province and is expected to ease traffic and boost the local economy.

Officially named” Ngiew Rai-Sampathuan Bridge”, it links tambon Ngiew Rai with tambon Sampathuan in Nakhon Chaisri district, DRR director-general Apirat Chaiwongnoi said.

The bridge was constructed to provide a novel way to transport items away from the city center.

The two-lane gate, which is nine feet wide and 400 yards long, cost 114 million baht to develop. The framework is made of reinforced concrete, while the street surface is asphalt.

According to Mr. Apirat, the bridge is anticipated to decrease the distance between the two tambons by at least two kilometers. This will aid in logistics, particularly when delivering local produce to the business.
