After a fire broke out in a Singapore General Hospital (SGH) ward on Monday night ( Jul 8 ), patients were evacuated.
A cleaning machine caught fire while it was charging, according to preliminary studies, igniting Ward 76’s fire alarm at around 7pm.  ,
” The sprinkler was activated, and our response team was promptly activated, in accordance ( with ) our fire safety plan. Our fire governor arrived on the scene, and the flames had now melted away, according to SGH in a Facebook post on Monday evening.
As a caution, patients in hospital 76 were moved to another hospital places due to the smoke. No injuries were reported, and the majority of the people had already left the hospital by 9 o’clock.
” Calm care remains continuous, with contingency plans in place to handle any temporary problems. We sorry for any stress or trouble caused”, said the doctor.
