PATTAYA: About 200 authorities raided a cafe on Pattaya’s Walking Street earlier Sunday night and found vestiges of substance abuse among the users.

Before launching the assault at 3am, the throng of officers, local government, and cocaine leaders gathered near Bali Hai Pier and stormed into Club Panda. There were about 400 clients inside enjoying the music, many of them dancing.

Men and women were divided into distinct parties after receiving orders to turn off the song and turn on the lights.

Urine testing on users found traces of substance abuse in five people, one a stranger. The officials claimed they most likely had used morphine. Fees were pending.
