Govt pickup used as Yala car bomb

YALA: According to safety options, the pick truck that was used as a car bomb in Bannang Sata area on Sunday night was taken from the Than To tambon operational organization in Than To area.

The blue Toyota pickup truck belonged to the tambon Than To regional operational organization, according to sources from the Internal Security Operations Command, and a common works associate was the vehicle’s previous authorized user on record.

The admin was identified as Mustofa Malae, a 27- year- ancient from Ban Jarohpae in Than To area. The vehicle’s next authorized use date was not made public.

Mr. Mustofa was detained and taken for questioning to the 41st military warrior army.

Later on Sunday morning, the car bomb detonated in front of a level in a private block at the Bannang Sata police station. A native Muslim professor, aged 45, was killed. When the explosive detonated, she was riding a bike past the delivery.

The blast also injured 18 different persons, eight of them police officers. A complete gas barrel and explosives were thought to be the components of the weapon, according to some.

Sources claim that the delivery passed a station in Ban Kasod in Bannang Sata on Sunday at 9.40 am and was parked outside the Bannang Sata authorities flats at 10.13 am. The vehicle exploded around 10 days after the vehicle was picked up by a motorist and left.
