Thai Lawyers for Human Rights ( TLHR ) has demanded that those who have fled abroad to escape political crimes be granted bail and amnesty.

The TLHR announced monday in a statement that 104 Thais are now facing social crimes and have fled the country and sought or received refugee status abroad.

67 people are accused of breaking Part 112 of the Criminal Code, also known as the der guess regulation, among the violators in problem.

The right group urged the government to assist and quicken the passage of the bill’s passage to give them amnesty pertaining to all fees, including those relating to lese majoreste, and made an appeal to the courts to let the offenders to receive loan.

They claimed that a quick bail and amnesty do stop adding social cases to the court.

Additionally, according to the TLHR, some of the criminals had already left Thailand and were preparing to apply for social prison there.

The TLHR noted that some of these people were attempting to obtain immigrant position while others were forced to maintain a low profile while seeking asylum.

As a result, the TLHR said these people have much exposure to safety, security, or rewards.

” On the days they refuse to submit to cruel strength to defend their liberty and dreams, they have to surrender what they love and were used to having, including apartment, family, friends, work and studies”, the right team stated. ” In the meantime, Thai culture is losing’ effective citizens’, or people who are engaged in contributing to the development of nation. These people are great resources”.

In response, the TLHR is urging the current state to uphold these migrants ‘ rights.
