The Tourist Police Bureau is collaborating with the offices of five nations in Pattaya to combat 10 criminal organizations and tourists scams.

The commission commissioner, Pol Lt Gen Saksira Phuek-am, met on Thursday to discuss guidelines for ensuring the safety of visitors in the well-known resort city of Chon Buri. Participants included members of the offices of South Korea, Ukraine, Russia, India and Switzerland.

Pol Lt. Gen. Saksira claimed he had mandated crackdowns on visitor scams, including dishonest or subpar tour guides and cruel sales of goods and services. Operation stepped off started on June 19 and will continue until June 25.

He claimed that the commission was working with various organizations to gain patronage in Pattaya.

Officials on the lookout to arrest users of 10 criminal organizations suspected of operating in Pattaya spent time on the famous Walking Street conversing with officers on the street.

Srettha Thavisin, the prime minister, is scheduled to travel to Chon Buri on Saturday to get a firsthand look at the hospitality condition.

He intends to visit Khao Phra Tamnak’s Bang Lamung region, where a prospective Formula One track might be located.

Mr. Srettha just spoke with Italian Formula One organizers to explore potential additions to Thailand’s racing calendar.

He may travel to Rayong’s U-tapao airport on Sunday to meet with business owners and discuss issues relating to growth on the airline’s land in an effort to boost investment in the Eastern Economic Corridor.
