BlackRock will not take part in Malaysia Airports privatisation, GIP says

GIP and the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority may own 30 % of the largest pension fund in Malaysia, Khazanah, and the People Provident Fund, while the majority had been held by the People Provident Fund and the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority. The fund did not respond to a request for comment on GIP’s statement.

BlackRock’s US$ 12.5 billion acquisition of GIP is expected to be completed in the third quarter.
