At the offer of Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin, Bhutanese Prime Minister Dasho Tshering Tobgay and his wife did make an official visit to Thailand on June 25 and 28.
The visit comes on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two largely Buddhist countries, and it will be Mr. Tobgay’s first since he became Bhutan’s prime minister for the next period in January.
His visit is aimed at improving partnerships between both nations on a large entry, including industry, investment, commerce, education, fresh energy and human resources development, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
During the attend, the importance of purchase hopes in Bhutan’s new economic hub, Gelephu Mindfulness City, will also be highlighted.
On June 26, Mr. Tobgay may visit Government House to meet with representatives and observe signing rites of association agreements between Thai and Bhutanese organizations. He will also have a meal with Srettha.
At Chulalongkorn University, Mr. Tobgay will match with representatives from Thailand’s secret and tourism sectors and deliver a conversation.
