After the court accepted the situation, Thasin is now a defendant.
According to the Office of the Attorney-General’s official, former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra reported to open lawyers on Tuesday night and was taken to the Criminal Court for trial for alleged misconduct.
Prayut Phetcharakhun said the jury accepted the situation at 8.56am on Tuesday, actually making Thaksin a plaintiff.
Late last month, the OAG announced its decision to implicate Thaksin, who was on , parole , at the time. The prosecution, initially set for an earlier time, was postponed to Tuesday ( June 18 ) because Thaksin had apparently contracted Covid- 19.

The Judge Advocate General’s Department was given the directive by Gen. Udomdej to record a complaint against Thaksin. The Criminal Court accepted the situation for trial in 2015 and issued an arrest warrant for Thaksin, who remained abroad and did not return to Thailand until , August  , last year.
The remarks made during the meeting, according to authorities, were in contravention of Section 112 of the Criminal Code, also known as the lese-majeste rules, as well as the Computer Crimes Act.
Before, the OAG’s official said that Attorney- General Amnat Chetcharoenrak had decided to , indict , Thaksin on both claims, as proposed by authorities.  ,
Thaksin is accused of computer crime for entering data into a computer program that was deemed to be a threat to national security.
Thaksin, who denies any wrongdoing, may experience pre- test confinement if he is denied loan by the Criminal Court, following the indictment.
For each perceived royal attack, the lese-majeste rules carries a maximum prison statement of up to 15 years.
