Srettha Thavisin, the prime minister, met with Italian Formula One organizers and expressed his hope that an F1 circuit did begin building near the U-Tao aircraft in Rayong territory in three or four years.
On Sunday evening, the excellent minister met Formula One Group managers in Milan.
Mr. Srettha stated to reporters that Thailand needed international sporting events to raise commerce, and that the government desired that the country host the Formula One World Championship.
Also provide in the conference were Chatchai Phromlert, president of PTT Plc, and Kavin Kanjanapas, leader of BTS Group Holdings Plc.
The prime minister claimed he had invited both guys because he anticipated that PTT would fund the construction of the new loop and that BTS Group Holdings would be the concessionaire for the enormous U-Tapao aircraft concession. The primary minister claimed that Formula One Group gave his committee a favorable response.
” I believe that the we and the organisers both want ( this ) to happen. I’m convinced that good news will surface in a few months,” Mr. Srettha said.
There could be F1 and F2 activities at the monitor, and even activities for young cyclists, he said. In- level facts had yet to be discussed, but the government may be ready to start building of the loop in 2027 or 2028 at the latest, the excellent secretary said.
Mr. Srettha even took a tour of the Formula One circuit in the area of Imola, south of Bologna, while he was in Italy.
