A Bangladeshi man and his Thai spouse have been detained in Phangna on suspicion of killing an American man in connection with a business dispute.
On Sunday, according to Pol Maj Gen Niphon Panitcharoen, deputy director of the Provincial Police Region 8, the arrests came after a foreigner’s body was discovered on the side of a street in tambon Lo Yung, Takua Thung neighborhood, on May 15.
Police identified American national Poulose Varghese as the dead person. He and a 32-year-old Muslim man, Yasir Ashfaq, who is now the primary suspect in the murder, were discovered traveling to Thailand on April 19 up.  ,  ,
The officers discovered that Poulose and Mr. Yasir both owned a business in Dubai and that he also has a stake in Mr. Yasir’s 39-year-old Thai woman, who is the second think, in a journey business.
Authorities believe the suspects fabricated information to get the target to invest in their organizations. The suspects started planning the death when he became conscious of the scam.
The suspects are seen taking Poulose from a car to the crime scene, according to security footage.
The officers found a gun, the dead man’s shoes and clothing as well as several other items of data at the suspects ‘ home in tambon Khokkloi in Takua Thung neighborhood on Sunday.  ,
The car they brought Poulose to the crime scene was discovered in their Phuket property in the Muang area.
