The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration ( BMA ) is continuing to clear the city’s drainage system and install water pumps citywide, warning residents in twenty-six provinces from Saturday through May 25.
Large rain is forecast for 26 provinces over the next seven days, according to assistant state official Karom Phonphonklang, who also adds that it could cause flash floods and discharge.
He claimed that the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation has deployed gear and emergency response teams to flood-prone areas to offer assistance.
Residents in these regions that are prone to flooding are being urged to carefully observe the weather forecasts and instructions, make the necessary preparation, and pay attention to government ‘ advice to stay healthy, he added.
