In this northern territory, a director of a principal class in Khon Kaen and a retired educator were detained for allegedly having sex with a 12-year-old student. Three alleged contractors were likewise arrested.
Pol Maj Gen Sarut Khwaengsopha, chief of the , Anti- Smuggling in Persons Division ( ATPD), announced the arrest of the five suspects for child sex abuse during a press briefing on Friday.
The five were Ms Wantananon Khamphrom, 26, alleged sexual purchaser, Ms Daoruang Wirunpaksee, 58, proprietor of a hotel in Chum Phae city of Khon Kaen, Sitthiporn Somboon, 58, user of another location in the same district, Poj Puramphaka, 58, director of a primary school, and Wichai Manad, 69, a retired teacher.
During the procedure on Thursday, authorities likewise rescued three victims – a 12- year- older girl and two adult teenagers, both aged 17 – who were lured into the sex trade.  ,
The arrest occurred after the 12-year-old girl’s relatives sought assistance from the Pavena Foundation for Children and Women, according to Pol Col Sarawut Chantawong, director of the ATPO sub-division 3. After being alerted, ATPO authorities arrested Ms Wantananon, alias Tik, for supposedly procuring the child into the meat industry.
The resort owners, Mr. Sitthiporn and Ms. Daoruang, were therefore detained by the prosecutors in Khon Kaen. Both were likewise alleged contractors, said Pol Col Sarawut, who led the procedure to assault the offenders.
The contractors ‘ mobile phone use documents were examined by the officers, which revealed information about those who had purchased sex from the 12-year-old woman. Consequently, arrest warrants were issued for Mr Poj, class chairman, and Mr Wichai, a retired teacher.
The two gentlemen had bought intercourse from the girl at least half, according to the police investigation. The female attended the school, which Mr. Poj served as the director.
During probing, the woman told police she was near to Ms Wantananon, or Tik. Afterwards, the person persuaded the lady to work in the intercourse trade. She therefore supplied the child to buy sex to users, who were asked to pay 1, 200 baht for support. The person may withdraw 400 baht each period.
Pavena Hongsakula, chairwoman , of the Pavena Foundation for Children and Women, said the three rescued ladies were now under the treatment of Ban Kret Trakan welfare home. The foundation has worked with educational institutions to support the women in their academic pursuits.
