STRONGER OPPOSITION, MORE UNCERTAIN ENVIRONMENT

Directly, there will be problems in navigating the uncertain setting. However, Mr. Wong has assured Singaporeans that he will find opportunities for Singapore to continue to thrive in addition to these challenges.
Domestically, it may no longer be enough for the ruling group to create policy with little public engagement, regardless of how effectively thought- out it is. Public opinion will become an increasingly significant component of social and policy receptivity as a result of changing cultural norms, a more socially intelligent public, and a more energetic citizenry both online and offline.
Mr. Wong has stated that the best way to adopt diversity and make it easier for various organizations to voice their opinions and take part in decision-making. He thinks that the government facilitates groups with divergent viewpoints in sympathetic issues.
It would be beneficial to have a system where views from various viewpoints can be broadcast and taken into account. This is especially important given that Mr. Wong has stated that the new administration is ready to re-examine all hypotheses when updating Singapore’s cultural small.
Mr. Wong made the pledge in his conversation at the handover ceremony to provide Singaporeans with all of his heart, to not accept the status quo, and to always strive to improve the world today.
Singaporeans may include first-hand access to watch as he leads us toward creating a Singapore where “everyone can be the best possible version of themselves” after May 15, and the level is his.
