At Phaya Thai crossing in Bangkok’s Ratchathewi district on Thursday morning, a truck struck a elevation clearance bar, almost paralyzing traffic.
A semi-trailer vehicle carrying , tyres struck the table in front of a runway on Si Ayutthaya Road, according to traffic police, at 5:30 am. The bridge beneath the BTS tracks was prohibited from use by vehicles over a level of 3.10 meters as a caution.
Two customers roads were blocked, and it took several hours for officers and workers to clear the road.
According to reports, the incident caused significant traffic to cross Ramkhamhaeng Road from Phaya Thai intersection several kilometers.
No deaths were reported.
