The Basic Education Commission’s secretary-general advises college management to halt site instruction on warm days.
Because of the possibility of heat stroke in extremely hot weather, payment secretary-general Thanu Wongchinda stated on Sunday that the managing of all schools under the commission’s control may follow the plan for the safety of students and teachers.
When the first class term of 2024 did begin, he predicted, extremely hot weather may be expected in the North, Northeast, Central Plains, and East.
School control may halt outdoor activities and provide enough drinking water on hot days. In addition, they may check the condition of electric , lines and electronic devices. Moreover, they could suspend onsite schools and utilize online classes rather, Mr Thanu said.
According to him, school staff should also check parked vehicles to stop any individuals from getting locked in.
