According to the Metropolitan Police Bureau ( MPB), a 45-year-old man has been detained for allegedly stalking and raping a former female coworker.
The man, identified just as Nutthaphon, was arrested on Friday night in the middle of Vibhavadi Rangsit Road, near Don Mueang Airport, while driving on the road.
According to MPB analytical chief Pol Maj Gen Theeradet Thumsuthee, who was an arrest permit issued by the Criminal Court on April 19, he was wanted.
According to analysis, Mr Nutthaphon was a motorist working for the same organization as the 22- yr- ancient victim.
The target claimed to have been friends with her and that Mr. Nutthaphon had made the decision to leave his job and work in IT services. She rode a vehicle apartment while he allegedly had a long-term stalk on her.
The target claimed that the assume had asked her for a lot of private data, which made her uncomfortable around him.
She claimed to have been raped after returning from a work gathering to her company at the end of next year. The think followed her, pulled her into the company’s treadmill where the abuse took place.
The target complained to the police at the Pracha Chuen train after reporting the affair to her company.
Mr. Nutthaphon was seen leaving the treadmill after cleaning up the crime scene from the office’s surveillance picture. He finally quit his job and fled, said Pol Maj Gen Theeradet.
He said it took some time for researchers to get a guide, but they eventually managed to learn Mr Nutthaphon’s movements. Friday night, the arrest came after a vehicle chase.
Mr Nutthaphon denied he had stalked the victim, telling authorities he only looked out for her health, said Pol Maj Gen Theeradet.
He claimed that because the woman had vomited and was intoxicated at the party the night of the alleged murder, he was trying to change her clothing. He finally became aroused but only touched her figure, he told authorities.
More investigation is required, according to Pol Maj Gen Theeradet, given the mounting evidence for the suspect. According to him, Mr. Nutthaphon also said he frequently changed jobs, so police are checking to see if similar incidents have occurred at various places of employment.
