After their vessel broke completely of its anchor and floated away, four French fishermen were rescued on Thursday from a stranded boat off Chon Buri immediately.

At 8am on Wednesday, the men boarded a occupied ship at Jomtien Beach to Koh Manwichai. No one aboard the ship was seen floating in the water off Koh Sichang on Thursday.

A Twitter user named Tai Ek posted a picture of a boat with the concept:” Friends, please support communicate. This vessel left Na Jomtien Beach on May 1 at around 7 to 8 a.m. and has not yet made a return trip. Four individuals who were on the ship could not be reached. People who finds them, politely please call me”.

The bare boat was later discovered 11 nautical miles offshore Koh Sichang in Chon Buri’s Sri Racha region, lying in the water. Tourist officers and rescue workers were immediately called upon to start a search.

The four people were afterwards discovered on Manwichai area, which is located 15 nautical miles abroad from tambon Bang Saray in the Sattahip area. Around lunch, they were taken to Bang Saray’s shore. Nothing was injured.

The four were identified solely as Andrien, 38, Medhi, 47, Vincent, 30, and Stefan, 32, all European citizens.

The four immigrants spoke with Pattaya holiday police to find out what had transpired.

Mr. Andrien admitted to bringing the vessel that on Wednesday after telling the police that he and his friends had gone there to scuba dive. Their vessel had broken completely and floated away when they came out of the water.

Before a recovery ship arrived on the island on Thursday night, they all had to spend the night on the island. They called for assistance, and they were eventually transported to sea.
