Extreme heat bends railway tracks

Rail workers spent about an hour cooling the tracks so they could be used once more in the province of Nakhon Si Thammarat because of the extreme hot weather, according to the State Railway of Thailand ( SRT ) on Wednesday.

At 2.20 p.m. on Tuesday, Ekarat Sri- arayanpong, the head of the SRT mayor’s office, reported that the road compression was discovered between the Ron Phi Bun and Khao Chum Thong facilities in the Ron Phi Bun city of Nakhon Si Thammarat.

He claimed that the songs were bent out of shape and that the extremely hot weather at the time caused development and anxiety on rails and sleepers on a segment of the road line.

The folded lines and heated concrete sleeping were treated with warm water and ice by SRT employees and rescue employees, and the tracks were back to normal in about an hour, according to Mr. Ekarat.
