Part of a proposed high-speed road program that will connect Don Mueang, Suvarnabhumi, and U-Tapao terminals, the Eastern Economic Corridor Office is about to finalize a business development program for regions in Chon Buri and Chachoengsao.
According to Sirima Hiruncharoenvate, director of the office implementing the combined expenditure deal, suggestions are being compiled into a plan for business development in the area following a hearing on Friday in Pattaya City.
According to her, the plan will be submitted for review by the EEC Policy Committee before being presented to the case the following year.
The job concerns stations for the higher- speed coach method, one in Pattaya City and the other in Chachoengsao.
The project, which aims to develop areas surrounding the railroad stations, does not involve the expropriation of women’s area, Ms Sirima said.
Landlords who want to make a mutual investment is first pitch their thoughts to the office, she said.
However, a 280- ray patch of land in tambon Na Kleau and tambon Nong Prue of Bang Lamung area, proposed to be included in the project, did been divided into three zones for various purposes.
She stated that the first area, which is composed of 97 acres of land, will serve as the railroad’s operating hub and for all related businesses.
The next corridor, which extends over 83 acres of land, will serve as a connecting point for travelers who want to use public transportation after leaving a train.
The page will also building a combined- use advanced for global business, trade, tourism and services, she said.
The second zone, covering 100 ra, may be developed into home projects, she said.
The high-speed train project, according to Veekij Manarojkij’s chief executive of the Bang Lamung city office, may add more value to local companies and tourism.
