According to the secretary-general of the National Anti-Corruption Commission ( NACC), embattled deputy national police chief Surachate Hakparn withdrew his malfeasance complaint against Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin on Tuesday after suspending him.

Niwatchai Kasemmongkol claimed that Pol Gen Surachate did not provide specifics about the causes for the complaint‘s abandonment.

Earlier, Pichit Chuenban, an assistant to the perfect minister, had defended Mr Srettha after Pol Gen Surachate, also known as “Big Joke”, accused the former home magnate of wrongdoing for ordering his expulsion.

Pol Gen Surachate, 53, is suspected of participation in a high-profile money-laundering event. He complained to the NACC on Monday, alleging that the premier’s decision to suspend him had severely impacted his chances of becoming the next federal police chief.

Mr. Pichit responded by stating that the prime minister is active and does not have the time to treat others with malicious intent. The NACC, he added, has to carry out its obligations.

“The leading has no ill purpose. According to Mr. Pichit, it is his legal for him to practice his authority in accordance with the law.

Given the current institutional issues, including drugs and crime, I believe the prime minister is rather concentrating on resolving public problems rather than bringing up individual conflicts. ”

In a related development, Sittra Biabungkerd, a solicitor, held a press conference to discuss the circumstances of police captain Pol Gen Torsak Sukvimol and Pol Gen Surachate. Both are accused of being involved in Mr. Sittra’s money-laundering investigation into online gambling next month.

He claimed that the officers lacked skill when it came to tracking the monetary dealings between the two officers.

Pol Gen Surachate was thought to be a candidate for the chief’s position last season, but it was rather given to Pol Gen Torsak, whose brother is the Crown Property Bureau’s mind. The two people have been fighting always since. Pol Gen Kitrat was appointed acting chief after Mr. Srettha switched the couple to inert positions in the prime minister’s office next month.

The prime minister’s commission investigating the Surachate-Torsak matter recently declared that it had determined that were legitimate grounds for believing that Pol Gen Surachate was a part of money laundering.

On April 2, Pol Gen Surachate reported to the police to reply costs of money fraud. He was then released without parole.
