Foreigner drowns trying to retrieve water gun from Bangkok canal

Another tourist escapes a motel fire and plunges to his death.

From Sunday evening through early on Monday morning, two foreigners perished in the cash. One drowned in a river in an ostensible attempt to retrieve a liquid gun, while the other perished from a resort fire exit.

At 7. Rescue personnel were informed at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday that a stranger had fallen into the Saen Saep river from the Pratunam jetty. Scuba divers immediately took the body out of the canal’s nearby Chaloemlok gate.
