About 100 Burmese soldiers are apparently waiting for reinforcements from the coup to retake the important boundary trade gateway of Myawaddy, which was just taken by ethnic armed groups.
Several soldiers loyal to the coup retreated to the Next Thai- Myanmar Friendship Bridge after Myawaddy fell to the Karen National Union (KNU) and Women’s Defence Force ( PDF) causes.  ,
As criticism forces continue to bombard the area, according to sources close to the border, Myanmar soldiers may be seen retreating toward the gate, prompting the Ratchamanu task force to bolster the area to stop the conflict from erupting over Thailand’s border.
A resource in Myawaddy, however, said about 100 men are refusing to surrender to rebel troops, as per the regime’s guidelines.
They are now awaiting additional products ‘ assistance to strengthen their posts and retake the crucial border trade hub.
Logistics vehicles have to go at a different speed from Mae Sot, which adds up to seven days to their vacation time due to the ongoing conflict between Myanmar government soldiers and opposition groups in Kawkareik and the fringes of Myawaddy.  ,  ,
Some traders opt to ship their goods through Yangon port, which is still under the control of the junta, with rebel forces now controlling several important border regions.  ,
Many armed opposition groups are pressuring the Myanmar martial government, which seized control in Nay Pyi Taw. Seven organizations are in charge of the northeast of Myawaddy, and seven people are active in the north of the area, making up the KNU only.
Thai officials are working with the organizations to design safe zones along important trade routes in order to ensure the safety of local people and businesspeople.
