On Wednesday ( Apr 10 ), a fire in a residential building in Hong Kong’s bustling Kowloon district slowed morning rush hour traffic, according to authorities.  ,
In the unusual event, five people were killed and more than a few were hurt.
Individuals inside the building waved napkins at the windows to call for help, according to radio RTHK, adding that the fire had already started at a nearby treadmill. Some of the streets in the area had to be blocked.
The incident, rated three in the state’s five- degree program, was doused by 8.54am, an hour after flames services were alerted to the fire in Jordan, an area teeming with homes and offices across the harbour from the city’s economic centre.
At least six of the injured were in critical condition, the doctor power said, with one person important.
No injuries were reported on Wednesday, but firefighters were still battling to put out a distinct large fire 15 days after it erupted at a tower page in the north New Territories, according to a fire service director.
