Heat stroke warning for Songkran

The Songkran festival’s danger of heat injury has been raised by the public health department, whose forecast calls for continued extremely hot weather.

Health continuous director Opas Karnkawinpong stated on Tuesday that the average temperature in many places was over 40 degrees Celsius, which increased the risk of heat stroke.

People’s bodies may not easily adapt to such ends. Their body heat may preserve rising and&nbsp, glands stop functioning, and people could die, Dr Opas said.

Signs to watch for included dark complexion, high body temperature, a fast signal, lack of perspiration despite the heat, pain, nausea, diarrhea, confusion and, lastly, sleep. Those most at risk were older people, young children, people with chronic conditions and persons working or exercising outside for a long period, he said.

” In the guide- up to the Songkran event, there are actions and parades in some areas. Please take measures and defend yourselves. Wear pale-colored, fine-fiber clothes that breathes. Spend your time in the color and drink more water and do it more often, never wait until you feel thirsty”, he said.

According to Dr. Opas, those who work out or have a lot of labor should consume two to four glasses of water per minute.

He advised resilient people to avoid being in direct sunlight and to spend time in well-ventilated areas.

He even warned that consuming drinks with high caffeine or sugar information, or drinking, may cause thirst, and add to the hazard. &nbsp,
