Police are looking for at least 1, 500 more kilos of harmful copper that are still unknown for and have discovered another 1, 000 kilograms at a station in Samut Sakhon.
According to Pol Col Aroon Wachirasrisukanya, assistant commander of the police’s Natural Resources and Environmental Crime Suppression Division, the most recent find was made on Tuesday during a research of the inventory in the province’s Krathum Baen area.
The get brings the total to 11, 500 kilograms, out of an estimated 13, 000 to 15, 000 kilograms of copper that officials said had been improperly transported from Tak state. In Samut Sakhon and Chon Buri, they have discovered the waste in various places.
After a vehicle stopped at a weigh place in the Krathum Baen area, authorities tracked it down, according to Pol Col Aroon, who said police had located the most recent location.
Police, who merely identified the landlord as Number, did not reveal the name of the storehouse.
The owner claimed to have been informed that J&, B Metal Co of Samut Sakhon had agreed to pay him 20 000 baht per month to lease space to store up to 1,500 tonnes of copper and zinc starting on February 1. During the attack, police discovered just 1, 000 tonnes of large bags in the station.
According to authorities, all of the copper waste came from a garbage in Tak state. They were connected to Bound and Beyond Plc, a northern province-based mining firm that has since switched to the generosity sector, Padaeng Industry Plc, formerly known as Padaeng Industry Plc.
