As heavy dust continued to afflict the northwestern region, Chiang Mai surpassed other cities on Tuesday morning as the most poisoned place in the world.

Chiang Mai city regained its position as the most polluted area at&nbsp, 9.20am, with great sand levels recorded at 203 microgrammes per square inch, according to IQAir rankings. The town was deemed “very unhealthy” by the wind monitoring website, and it may stay that way through Wednesday and beyond.

Chiang Mai area, Thailand’s most popular vacation spot, is typically one of the most popular ones, and it will host the Songkran water event from Thursday through the following Monday.
