preparing meals for the hungry
In the first three months of this year’s Ramadan, MySaveFood has now saved more than 54 tonnes of food, price around US$ 126, 000.
The project, which now has more than 2, 000 individuals, urged bazaar- visitors to plan ahead and buy just what they need.  ,
Vendors can even reduce waste by adjusting the food’s consumption and keeping the food effectively, it continued.
Voluntary Adamsyam Daniel said he wanted to help save fair food for charity so that he could give back to the community.
” Right now, I feel we have two major problems in our everyday life, which are extra food and many who are in hunger”, he added.
” We want to increase awareness about these meal problems in all areas.”
Some organizations are even arranging for their employees and volunteers to go to Ramadan stalls to distribute flyers on overspending and wasting food.
Despite the difficulties, the work of several partners as a whole are helping to address the issue of food waste in the nation, according to observers.  ,
They argued that Malaysia’s Ramadan stalls can continue to become a symbol of community spirit while reducing their environmental footprint by encouraging a society of accountable consumption and sustainable practices.
