Airlines offer extra flights, discounts during Songkran

Airlines are wooing Songkran travelers with more flights and ticket sales in the hope that there will be a lot of demand during the monthly water event holiday.

From April 12 through April 16, Thai Airways International announced on Monday evening that it will add more profit flights between Bangkok, Phuket, and Chiang Mai, with the exception of April 14. &nbsp, &nbsp,

The Suvarnabhumi airport may stop for the additional airlines.

Thailand is not the only country making an effort to capitalize on the long-haul go boom.

Thai AirAsia has announced the addition of a regular flight from Don Mueang to Chiang Mai on April 11 and April 15 to profit. The affordable airport may include a return trip to Khon Kean on April 15 and 16 and an additional trip from Don Mueang to Phuket on April 12 and 15.

Its foe Nok Air may include one trip on the Chiang Mai road on April 11 and 12 and one trip to Phuket on&nbsp, April 11- 12 and April 15- 16. The following morning is scheduled for the returning feet.

On April 11, 12, and 16, Thai Lion Air may include one trip to the Don Mueang- Krabi and Don Mueang- Ubon Ratchathani roads, while Thai Vietjet is offering a 20 % discount on all home roads.

Prior to the Songkran festival, Transportation Minister Suriya Juengrungreangkit had publicly urged local flights to lower their ticket prices. To ease his worries, the flights made the promise to lower the cost or increase the number of seats during the holiday season.
