Cholnan launches drug delivery service

The” Health Rider” project, which aims to deliver medications to patients ‘ homes, has been officially launched by the public health ministry.

As part of a Pua district-wide National Village Health Volunteers Day event, Minister Cholnan Srikaew distributed uniforms to authorized health users from 15 Nan districts.

According to Dr Cholnan, the Health Riders, or Village Health Volunteers riders, are an action in response to Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin’s bet to increase the 30- ringgit plus health maintenance scheme.

The improvements include promoting greater access to health care services, as well as the” One Card for All,” which, he said, allows access to services using only an identification ( ID ) card.

The riders, said Dr Cholnan, may function as a rapid reaction unit and provide a complimentary drug delivery service for those in need, especially the bedridden and stay- at- home patients. These patients wo n’t have to travel to the hospital right away to get their medications.

While the distribution process is aided by secret logistics companies, the riders are required to file with the Provider ID program.

Patients who are unable to travel to hospitals may use the services as an alternative; however, a skilled expert evaluation is required before using it.

He said a telepharmacy program developed for people will be used to help verify drug approval and provide instructions on how to get them.

According to Dr. Cholnan, the venture is also intended to increase the revenue of village health volunteers and healthcare workers. Before the start yesterday, the health horse project had been tested in a number of provinces.

According to Dr Cholnan, 184 company models in 32 regions had registered for the job, with at least 1, 414 individuals helping deliver at least 44, 170 drug purchases.

Since December, at least 78 wellness participants and companies have joined the program in Nan.

At least 2, 976 commands have been delivered in the state, said Dr Cholnan.
