Dhanarak Asset Development Co Ltd ( DAD ) intends to invest 449 million baht in a project to convert the Government Complex on Chaeng Wattana Road’s rooftops and surrounding areas of carpark buildings into a public park. In the money, it anticipates adding more efficient spaces.
By constructing five new public parks at the complex, DAD managing director Nalikatibhag Sangsnit stated that the company wanted to add 40.9 % rai ( 1 rai equals 1, 600 square meters ) of green zones.  ,
Daddy, a state-run corporation under the Ministry of Finance, has begun planting trees this year, and it hopes to complete the project by the third quarter of the year. The government advanced will be greener in 2026 as a result, he said, and it will take about two decades for the trees to grow.
Under the program, the first pubic area will be on the top of Building D, a carpark. The place is 2, 789m² and will be developed under the concept of industrial gardening. The top of Building A, another carpark, has 5, 872m² and will be developed with the concept of a” Welcoming Garden”. Additionally, there will be an outdoor area.
A link on the second ground between Buildings D and A may be planted with ornamental plants and trees. The 205 meter skywalk that connects the Government Complex Pink Line rail train to the first floor of Creating D will also be replaced with trees.
Another common plaza, covering 5.7 ray, may be built near the Erawan temple crossing. Additionally, the area may be accessible to the general public.  ,
According to Mr. Nalikatibhag, it is anticipated to be a popular location for outdoor activities like Loy Krathong and garden food truck activities. The development also complies with the idea of a” Healthy City.”
Additionally, the DAD intends to plant more than 1,200 trees along the path to help reduce air pollution from Soi Chaeng Wattana 7 to the Ratthaprasasanabhakti Building ( or Building B) in the complex. Chaeng Wattana Road is also being promoted as a brand-new area location by the business.
Another common area may be built in front of the Ratthaprasasanabhakti Building, spanning 12.65 ray.
The Erawan Shrine will also be connected to the area. Ultimately, the final clean territory will function as a connection between Building B and C, spanning 5.1 ray. DAD has constructed an overpass to improve the safety of pedestrians as well as beautifying the surrounding area.
