A van driver in Singapore was given a three-week prison sentence and a two-year suspension from driving at Woodlands Checkpoint.
The 74-year-old girl had fallen when he left without waiting for her to elude and ended up under the back vehicle tire. Her limbs were afterwards amputated.  ,
Gunaselan R Subramaniam, a 45- yr- ancient Malaysian, had been convicted final month of causing severe hurt by a careless act, after defending the charge at trial.
He worked for Singapore-Johor Express, a business that provided transportation between Singapore and Malaysia at the time.
On June 24, 2019, he stopped at Woodlands Checkpoint’s exit concourse to collect travellers who needed to board the plane.  , Nevertheless, he did not wait for the last traveler, 74- year- older Tuminah Sapie.
