On Thursday night, two suspected rebels were killed in a fight with armed rangers who laid battle on their rented home in Pattani’s Sai Buri area.

After many hours of the battle, armed rangers instructed the defendants to surrender. Starting at 5am on Thursday, about 50 guards began encircling the single-story home on Pattani- Narathiwat Road in tambon Troh Bon.

Around 7 a.m., the defendants opened fire inside the home, causing a gunfight that broke out.

At 7.30am, the guards shot tear oil into the house and strongly entered. The suspects, who were hiding in the sky columns, opened fire at the guards who next retaliated.

One suspect was shot before he died. The soldiers then retreated.

By 8 a.m., the soldiers had located the other suspect using a helicopter before starting a second assault. The next shooter was shot dead on a frame three days later.

Hamdee Salor and Rachit Mayuso were the defendants, according to authorities. They were wanted for a number of security-related acts as a result of numerous imprisonment permits.
