Smuggler's meth stash found among cow dung

At a lonely, infested petrol station in the Rattaphum district, about 3 million cocaine pills have been discovered hidden among sacks of cattle dung.

According to the police, the cocaine had a street price of 58 million baht, making it the biggest drug seizure in this southern border state this time.

Around 9pm on Tuesday, regional authorities and police officers who were patrolling the area noticed a pickup truck parked in the abandoned petrol station in Khuha Taion. The car immediately sped off when they trained a light on it.

32 significant plastic bags were discovered following a close examination. Twenty-two were discovered to contain cattle manure. There were 2.93 million cocaine tablets in full in the other ten.

The medicines were thought to have been hidden it by criminals for later disposal. According to authorities, the investigation is ongoing.
