A British citizen who immigrated to Australia to work as a police officer passed away while he was celebrating his wedding.

In the accident at his home in Western Australia ( WA ) on Sunday, Liam Trimmer, 29, cut a carotid artery in his neck.

Mr. Trimmer passed away shortly before doctors arrived, according to authorities, despite their best efforts to revive him.

The senior officer was described by colleagues as an “extraordinary official” who “loved helping his neighborhood.”

Commissioner Col Blanch described Mr. Trimmer as a” worthy young man with his entire life ahead of him” in the language of” this is a really challenging time for WA Police” on Monday in the local press.

” Everything was done to try to save him, but it was n’t, and I know everyone who was involved is currently really, really hurting.” I believe they would rather just emerge from this problem, Mr. Blanch told 9 News Perth.

The slide was covered by a coroner’s investigation, but police did not provide additional information about it.

The brain receives blood from cerebral vessels, which are located on both sides of the neck.

Mr. Trimmer had relocated from the UK to Australia in 2013 to work for the police.

He moved to Kalgoorlie, which is about 600 kilometers ( 370 miles ) east of Perth, after receiving his academy training in 2017, and worked in police gang crime and tactical response units.

In reference to his presence on the BBC series Wanted Down Under, which explores the lives of potential immigrants, local media described him as a “poster child” for the army that had encouraged other young British citizens to travel to Wan.

The country’s police union also expressed its sympathies.
