‘Efforts underway’ to settle land dispute

Both Alro and DNP “followed the rules”

The Agricultural Land Reform Office ( Alro ) and the Department of National Parks, Wildlife, and Plant Conservation ( DNP ) are currently working together to resolve a land dispute, according to Agriculture and Cooperatives Minister Capt. Thamanat Prompow, who addressed the House of Representatives yesterday.

Move Forward Party list-member Apichart Sirisunthorn, the secretary responded to questions about the issue over property plots close to Khao Yai National Park, blaming the two state agencies for using different charts.

He claimed that the Defense Ministry’s involvement in the creation of a One Map technique may lead to any land disputes over land ownership across the country, not just the 3, 000-rai plot in Tambon Moosi inside Khao Yai National Park.

He claimed there should be “one area, one law.”

The secretary also criticized authorities who set aside buffer zones for the agricultural land transformation program and established the rule that no one should receive them.

” Alro must review and learn from incidents of elephants destroying plantations in Khao Yai,” he said.

People should never be given property in the cache area. Because whatever the farmers flower, wild animals might invade and eat it. It’s difficult to stop the producers from invading the jungle at the same time.

The minister vowed to make sure that landless farmers receiving the 22 million rai of land under the Alro program are properly allocated and wo n’t touch forest land.

He claimed that as Arlo and the DNP wait for the report’s findings from the One Map council, he has already ordered a probe into the release of Sor Kor Por property documents and the exchange of six officials to promote the investigation.

Capt. Thamanat also threatened to file legal action against corrupt officials and landowners, including asking the Anti-Money Laundering Office ( Amlo ) to look into their finances and seize their illegal assets.

Capt Thamanat stated previously on Wednesday that the controversy has destroyed the public’s trust in Alro at an event celebrating Alro’s 49th celebration.

He stated that he would request that Alro check whether contenders, especially real estate developers and investors, are on the list of 1, 628, 520 farmers who are ready for the rights. Any hotels or motels discovered on Sor Por Kor land will likely face legal action, he warned.

Alro if, in contrast, immediately give the land to those in need, he said, because the procedure has already been postponed.

10.71 million ray in the Northeast, 5.23 million ray in the North, 3.56 million ray in the Central place, and 2.56 million ray in the South, according to Alro.

The secretary stated that a group of anti-graft authorities is looking into the Khao Yai property debate.

The National Park Department’s director, Chaiwat Limlikit-aksorn, announced next year that all relevant stakeholders, including the defense, Alro, and the Department of Land, may visit the contentious webpage for overlapping downright clearance.
