Norway’s King Harald was discharged from a Malaysian hospital on Sunday ( Mar 3 ) after receiving treatment for an infection and a temporary pacemaker, according to Norwegian media reports.
Harald, the 87-year-old reigning queen of Europe, was admitted to a hospital on Tuesday after contracting an illness while visiting Langkawi.
He had been fitted with a “temporary” device, which his private doctor claimed would render his returning safer, according to Norway’s royal castle on Saturday.
The palace announced on Sunday that the queen would accompany Harald and that he would” quickly be on his way to Langkawi Airport for clinical transportation.”
His Majesty may be admitted to the Rikshospitalet upon her appearance in Norway, according to the statement.
” His Majesty will be on bored keep for two weeks.”
