According to Senator Seree Suwanpanont, the Senate is considering holding a public discussion on the Pheu Thai-led administration’s plan implementation, which appears to be moving slowly.

The screen will determine on Monday whether the Senate should start the public debate without a vote so that the government can address the issue, according to Mr. Seree, chairman of the social development committee.

He stated that the committee believes Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin and his government may be questioned about the slow progress made in implementing their plan after consulting with lawmakers.

Economical issues, power costs, law enforcement, and the judicial system are among the issues to be brought up, he said. If the board decides to move forward, 84 senators—or one-third—will make a movement to Senate Speaker Pornpetch Wichitcholchai. &nbsp,

For a movement may be made in accordance with Section 153 of the contract. The government is expected to engage, he said, even though it does not describe when the government should address the issue.

Before parliament adjourns and the latest Senate, which was hand-picked by the now-defunct National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO ), expires, Mr. Seree added that he anticipates the general conversation to take place in April.
