Man charged with murder of woman in Bukit Batok

SINGAPORE: On Sunday, January 7, an old guy was accused of killing a woman in Bukit Batok.

Quek Eng Hock, 65, is charged with murdering the 43-year-old girl on Saturday. Due to a gag order, the victim may get named.

On Saturday at around 8.20 am, authorities were summoned to a residence on Bukit Batok West Avenue 9.

The woman was found lying still inside the apartment when officers arrived, and paramedics later declared her dead.

The woman’s boy, a five-year-old son, was brought to the hospital unconscious.

The man was taken into custody at the location. According to the police on Saturday, a razor thought to have been used in the event was seized.
