According to its president, Keeree Kanjanapas, the Bright Line rail system will have all 30 trains ‘ guide wheels inspected and have longer maintenance lengths to ensure public safety.

The train company Alstom has joined the 1, 080 manual wheel observation. More than 60 % have been examined thus much. The ancient wheel bearings have also been swapped out for fresh ones.

According to Mr. Keeree, the company’s top priority is public health, so preservation of the trains and their products will be increased.

Before each train is put back into service, the operator of Golden Line, Eastern Bangkok Monorail Co, must carefully inspect its safety.

A manual wheel fell off a train on Tuesday night and collided with the taxi on the road below.

An inspection is being conducted to determine what caused the accident, which is thought to be caused by bad ball joints.

By Monday, the entire assessment should be finished, with 21 trains operating normally. The remaining railways are used as backups.

A similar inspection will be carried out on the Pink Line rail system, which even experienced a problem on December 24, according to Mr. Keeree.

Some parked cars along Tiwanon Road in Nonthaburi were damaged when an aluminum wire bridge fell off a frame at the time.

The Transport Ministry issued a caution against operators, stating that concessionaires will be blacklisted if more incidents occur. The public’s health concerns were raised by the incidents involving the link wheel and frame.

The operators of public transportation systems may give this priority, according to Mr. Keeree, as the caution reflects the council’s issue for public safety.

When asked if the incidents may result in a decline in profits, he responded that while they are unlikely to have an impact on the number of passengers or money, they could damage the reputation of the business.

The Golden Series operator announced yesterday on Facebook that all trains between 6 a.m. and midnight are free. During rush minute, the service operates every eight days; otherwise, it does so every ten minutes. The trains travel 30.4 kilometers from D Phrao train to Samrong Station.
