In four significant medicine cases, drug enforcement officials claim to have seized about 16 million rate pills, 27 kilograms of heroin, and assets for about 105 million baht, with six suspects being detained.

At a press briefing held on Thursday at the Narcotics Suppression Bureau ( NSB), where numerous seized drugs were on display, deputy national police chief Pol Gen Kitrat Phanphet revealed the information.

He claimed that in the first instance, NSB officers discovered 500,000 rate pills that drug smugglers had left behind in Chiang Rai’s Muang region. To pick up medicines from some smugglers and deliver them to a seller in the Central Plains, officials posing as riders went to the community. But when the pirates realized it was a bruise, they fled and gave up on the medications.

In the second instance, authorities detained two suspects at a heckpoint in the Sikhiu city of Nakhon Ratchasima and took 8.6 million rate tablets and 27 kilograms of cocaine from their vehicle. According to Pol Gen Kitrat, the medications were intended for Saraburi and were smuggled from Nakhon Phanom in the Northeast.

In the second instance, two riders were detained at a station in Nakhon Sawan after their pickup was stopped and it was discovered that it contained more than 6 million rate supplements. &nbsp,

After learning that the car was transporting medicines from a northern border region to Nakhon Sawan, authorities had been following it. To prevent the pick, the officers worked in tandem with security personnel stationed at the checkpoint.

The two suspects admitted during questioning that they had been hired to smuggle drugs from Chiang Mai’s Mae Ai city.

In the third instance, authorities in Nakhon Si Thammarat detained two international gang members and took 850 kg of morphine from their delivery.

Anan, a person who has been connected to another transnational drug smuggling cases, such as the seizure of 960 kg of crystal methamphetamine at an apartment in Ratchaburi, is rumored to be the network’s operator. According to Pol Gen Kitrat, the medications were intended for the South.
