OFFICIAL LINKS
Be on the lookout for SMS messages requesting your personal information or bank information.  ,
These SMSes are frequently used to perpetrate phishing scams, in which a victim is tricked into entering their personal information on an erroneous electronic system by clicking on the link.
By doing this, they unintentionally give swindlers access to their qualifications, allowing them to conduct unauthorized purchases on their accounts.
The North East and Central Singapore Community Development Councils were forewarned on Wednesday evening by RedeemSG that it would never take SMSes requesting for information.  ,
They also advised people who are claiming the tickets to make sure the special voucher link begins with the prefix https ://voucher.redeem.gov.sg.
The Women’s Association ( PA)-affiliated CDC claimed to be aware of unauthorised links that are being circulated electronically.
It added that a police statement had been made and that” we are working closely with the government for examinations.”
The CDC certificates program’s official information and updates are accessible via its webpage.
Anyone who receives unsettling information regarding RedeemSG or CDC certificates should call the PA at 6225 5322.  ,
They can also visit 1800 255 0000 to file a police statement, or they can send the information online using the I-Worship platform.  ,
The PA individually issued a warning about potential con letters, calls, messages, social media pages, sites, and mobile applications posing as the association or its employees.
PA stated in an expert on its webpage,” If unaware, do not provide your personal or financial information.”  ,
