According to federal resources, scams cases, which have resulted in damage totaling about 50.87 billion baht over the past 21 months, were primarily committed online.

Following this, there were 6.07 billion ringgit from employment fraud, 5.98 billion from contact scams, 3.68 billion dollars from dubious product and service vendors, 1.84 billion pounds from lending fraud and 1.05 billion tonnes from love fraud.
Additionally, Mr. Karom forewarned the public about deceptive webpages made to take victim complaints, which could result in repeated fraud.
