In order to promote commerce, the northern regions of Nong Bua Lamphu, Bung Kan, Loei, Ng Khai and Udon Thani are to be searched for distinctive characteristics. This task has been given to the Tourism Authority of Thailand and the Ministry of Tourism and Sports.
Following the smart case meeting in Nong Bua Lamphu on Monday, Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin made the announcement.
According to Mr. Srettha, these second-tier regions offer a wide range of visitor attractions, including illustrious faiths and delectable cuisine.
He claimed that Nong Bua Lamphu  was chosen for his cabinet’s primary smart meeting because it has the lowest per capita income.
He had been briefed by the governors of the five provinces on issues with drugs, farming, land rights, poverty, and several income-raising initiatives.
The prime minister declared that the one-talons-one-product ( Otop ) goods on display at the cabinet meeting location were high-quality goods, and their sale should be encouraged.  ,
According to the transport ministry, shops selling Otop products could be given space at Bangkok’s Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal Station ( Bang Sue Central Station ).
According to Mr. Srettha, the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society and Minister of Commerce will jointly develop a system that will give individuals easier access to these products in order to promote sales of those items online.
He wanted to see more Otop items from the five counties traded online.
The government decided to fund the construction of 92 weirs while they were in Nong Bua Lamphu to help address the province’s ocean shortages. Additionally, the Department of Fisheries has been told to relieve fish into unmanaged waterways. According to the prime minister, those who possess Sor Por Kor land rights documents ( agricultural reform land ) can convert them into land title deeds, allowing them to own the land and earn a living.
Additionally, he said, more bridges would be constructed to link Nong Bua Lamphu with different regions.
